Swiss Species Occurrence Data for Controlled Access by Valpar.ch and SwissCatchment, v1

Validated occurrence data of Swiss National Biodiversity Data Centers infospecies.ch (https://www.infospecies.ch), compiled according to the criteria of (1) coordinate uncertainty inferior to 251m and (2) occurrence year between 1980 to the present day. Bird breeding records are provided gridded, aggregated with a spatial resolution of 25x25m (coordinate uncertainty in meters <18m) and 1x1km (coordinate uncertainty in meters 18-707m), respectively. The application of these criteria results (2021-12-02, v1) in a dataset with 19’270’274 occurrence records (occurrence status present) for 21’290 taxa (native and non-native). Data on sensitive breeding birds are provided on a 1x1km grid.
